Access to this web site (the “Web Site”) is subject to and in accordance with the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this site.

These terms and conditions are between albee & boo / Rosewood Yarns (“we/us/our”) and you, the user of this Web Site (“you”).

On accessing the Web Site on this occasion and on each subsequent occasion you will be deemed to have accepted all of the terms and conditions that apply to its use and to the facilities, services and information provided by it. We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and it is your obligation to check if changes have been made. Your use of the Web Site after changes are posted on-line will constitute acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

Making a Purchase.

All items are subject to availability. Browse the shop sections of this website and add any items you wish to purchase to your bag. After you have finished selection click on the bag icon which will take you to the checkout. You will need to add details so that we can complete your order. Currently we accept payments via credit/debit card only. We only ship to the UK.

By placing an order, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

Once your order has been accepted you will receive a confirmation email and this represents a contract between us. Your data will be kept with us in accordance with the privacy policy.

When your order has been posted you will receive a further email advising the parcel is on the way.

Your parcel will be sent via the Royal Mail to the address provided at the time of the order. Once the parcel has been shipped no amendment can be made to the delivery destination.

Changes to pricing, product descriptions and delivery costs are liable to change at any time. These changes will not affect an order that is already being processed.

In the unlikely circumstance that a mistake has been made on the website and we have inadvertently under-priced goods or a product is no longer able to supply a particular product we will contact you by email to advise and confirm that in the case of price you are happy to continue with the new price.

In the case of being unable to supply and you have paid for the goods we will facilitate a full refund.

If we are unable to contact you to confirm your requirements the we will consider the order to be cancelled and if the goods have been paid for you will receive a full refund and there will be no further liability between us. Statutory rights are not affected.

If the order is reconfirmed then the new confirmation of order will act as our contract (see above).

Every effort is made to accurately represent the colour. However, due to the limitations of computer screens colour may vary from the actual yarn colours. Certain colours are more difficult to represent on a screen than other and this should be taken into account when ordering from this website. Please use the images as a guide and do not use them to colour match the yarn. Refunds cannot be made for this variation.

It is highly recommended that you purchase all of the yarn for your project in one order where possible. Adding a skein in a different dye lot can significantly change the outcome. If you are working from more than one skein of hand-dyed yarn it is advised to work alternate rows with different skeins to give and even blending of the colour.

We have noted on the product page if a colour is available in a larger skein. There may be a variance in colour that should be considered.

Special Orders.

Sometimes the yarn base/quantity is not available on the website. In this case it may be possible to produce a special order. Email your requirements and Penny will endeavour to meet them. Delivery times will vary for "special" orders due to the nature of the dyeing process, drying time and what is already on the order books. This will be discussed in email. Although every effort will be made to reproduce the colours requested variables to camera, monitor should again be taken into account. There may be variations across the skeins if more than one is ordered and care should be taken to work more than one skein at a time for and even blend of colours. It is important to take into consideration that different yarn bases accept colour differently, even a different thickness of the same yarn base can have an affect. This will be discussed in email before the order is placed.

When you have decided on an option you will be advised of the price. Once the order has been placed on a "special order" basis you are committing to pay for the yarn.

Shipping and Delivery.

Orders are liable to post and packing charges which will be calculated at the checkout. These charges are clearly marked on your order.

Your parcel will be sent via the Royal Mail to the address provided at the time of the order. Once the parcel has been shipped no amendment can be made to the delivery destination.

Orders placed from the web shop will be despatched within 7 days of acceptance of order by Royal Mail. You will receive a despatch email to confirm that it has been sent and we will endeavour to have this tracked. However, once your parcel has been delivered to the Royal Mail we no longer have control of it. Please allow 14 days from despatch email before contacting us regarding a missing parcel. Although any delivery should be within a few days of receipt of the despatch confirmation, it can take this long with the parcel service. We are not held responsible for delays that are out of our control such as inclement weather or postal strikes.

Returns Policy.

Mismatches in colour are not a valid reason for refund (see Making a Purchase). Please take care when balling your yarn, refunds cannot be made for mis balling the yarn.

We can only offer refunds and exchanges within 14 days of your purchase. If 14 days have passed we can't offer a full refund or exchange. Retuned items will be refunded at the original cost (excluding shipping). Returns postage will be borne by yourself unless the goods are faulty. Exchanges will incur a further shipping cost.

We are unable to accept liability for goods returned to us which are lost or damaged in the post. You are advised to wrap the product carefully, return goods by tracked delivery. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please include your name and address and include a copy of the purchase receipt/invoice.

To be eligible for a refund the item must be in the same condition that it was received. The yarn must not have been balled or used and the labels must still be attached and in good condition. The goods must be in a saleable condition.

In the case of faulty goods please email and we discuss rectifying the problem. If we agree after inspection of the goods we will refund the original cost and the postage paid for return. You must have proof of postage and we recommend tracking the parcel.

A partial refund may be granted if the item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing items not due to an error at Rosewood Yarns.

Contact us in the first place at hello@rosewoodyarn.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your item.

Exceptions to refunds. Kits including printed patterns and other printed material are non refundable. Sale items are not refundable. Sometimes a sale item may be a "second" or have some minor flaw and have been offered at a lower price. In such cases a refund or exchange will not be offered.

Refunds.

Once a return has been received and accepted we will send an email notifying you of approval or rejection of the refund or exchange. If approved a credit will be applied to the payment method used when purchasing the item and should be received in your account within 7 days of approval. Original delivery charges are non refundable.

Contents of website.

This Web Site, and any content contained on it, is for information purposes only. We do not warrant that any information contained in this web site is accurate, up to date or complete.

We do not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in any of the information on this Web Site or any liability in respect of information on this Web Site supplied by you, any other user or any other person.

Intellectual Property.

All trade marks, names and logos on the Web Site are the propriety marks to us. Marks identifying third parties are owned or licenced by them and nothing on these terms and conditions in any way confers on you any licence or right under these trade marks, names or log0s.

Copyright in the content of this Web Site and in the photographs diagrams and illustrations of products herein, are owned and controlled by us. You may not in any way commercially exploit any of the content contained on the web site including copying, modification, republishing, adapting or altering in any way.

Privacy.

Any personal data will be processed in accordance with the Rosewood Yarns privacy policy. If you are placing an order on behalf of someone else/a third party you agree that you have all the relevant consents to transfer that personal data to Rosewood Yarns. You agree to indemnify Rosewood Yarns in relation to all and any liabilities, penalties, fines, awards or costs arising from your non-compliance with these requirements.
